Affordable Housing Initiatives (AHI) is a 501(c)(3) with a goal of providing stable, affordable, long-term housing in conjunction offer supportive services related to employment, financial and living skills that enhance independence and advancement.

Matt Lovitz, Director
Matt Lovitz is a former small business owner with a degree in economics from SCSU. He currently serves as a business consultant for BerganKDV, where he helps businesses with their operational, technology, and fiscal challenges. He’s a MN native and currently lives with his two boys (10, 8) in Foley, Minnesota.
Matt served in the Minnesota Army National Guard from 2000 – 2006 and was deployed with the First Calvary Division to Baghdad, Iraq from November of 2003 through March of 2005.
Matt is currently serving as board chair for St. Cloud Area Sertoma Club as well as Treasurer/Co-founder of Veteran Valor Farm. www.veteranvalorfarm.org In his spare time Matt enjoys anything to do with the outdoors and is currently working on learning more primitive skills.
Jeff Rieder, Director
Jeff Rieder currently works as the Prosthetic Program Officer for Midwest Healthcare Network VISN 23, Veteran’s Health Administration. He was born and raised in the St. Cloud area and graduated from Apollo High in 2000. He served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2005 with a combat tour in Iraq in 2004. In 2009 he graduated from St. Cloud State with a Bachelors in International Business, and worked retail management at Best Buy and Cabela’s until Joining the VA in 2011. He graduated with his Masters in Healthcare Administration in 2019 from Moorhead State University.
Jeff lives in Elk River with his wife Jessica, sons Archer and Liam 3&6, and enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
